Steps of PST Merge & Split Process - How PCVITA PST Magic Software Works

How to Split and Merge PST file using PCVITA PST Magic Software. Get step by step detailes of this PST Split & PST Merge software working process below:

1. Open PCVITA PST Magic software. Go to Start » Programs » PCVITA PST Magic » PCVITA PST Magic. You see the following startup screen:
   
   
   
   
2. Click the “Browse” button to select Outlook PST files (You can select root folder only. Software will automatically search all PST files inside selected root folder). Software displays a screen as shown below:
   
   
   
   
3. After choosing the Root folder click the OK button. Software displays the all PST files inside selected Root folder as shown below:
   
   
   
   
   • Merge Only (No Split) - By checking this option, software will only merge the selected PST files.
   
   
   • Split Initial PST - Using this option, you can set an year ranges in order to create a PST file heaving those year emails.
   
   
   • Split Yearly PST - Using this option, you can set an year ranges in order to split PST file year by year between selected year ranges.
     
     
4. Choose the Splitting option and click the Start Process button in order to start splitting and merging process. After completion of splitting or merging process, Software displays status of process as shown below:
   
   
   
   
5. Browse the same location where your selected PST files were saved. You will find out splitted and merged PST files along with comparision report inside a CSV file as shown below:
