Thanks in advance.\u201d<\/em><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"heading-style\"><strong>How to Configure Office 365 in Mozilla Thunderbird in Manual Ways<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this section, we will learn the process of setting up Office 365 in Thunderbird in a manual way. This process is divided into several parts and we will talk about all the parts here. In this method, we will take the help of an IMAP server to access Office 365 in Thunderbird.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"heading-style\"><strong>1. Configure Office 365 Account in Thunderbird<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>a.<\/strong> Launch the latest version of Thunderbird on your system. If you do not have any account configured in it, you will be prompted to do one. Otherwise, proceed to click on Menu icon and then select<strong> Options&gt;&gt; Account Settings&gt;&gt; Account Actions&gt;&gt; Add Mail Account<\/strong> respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>b.<\/strong> On the next window, enter your name, <strong>Office 365 account id, and its password<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>c.<\/strong> Click on C<strong>ontinue<\/strong> to go to the next step.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>d.<\/strong> Thunderbird will fetch the server settings and display it on your screen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>e.<\/strong> Click <strong>Done<\/strong> to go back to the page of Account Settings. If the configuration is done properly, the newly added Office 365 account will be visible on the left panel. In that case, close the window.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>f.<\/strong> You can be sure that the configuration is done. However, for the data to get synchronized, you have to wait for some time.<\/p>\n<div class=\"alert alert-success\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> Though the configuration is done, users have to perform the following steps before that start using Thunderbird.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"heading-style\"><strong>2. Reconfigure Mapping of Thunderbird Folder<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reconfiguring folder mapping is an essential step before you use Thunderbird.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>a.<\/strong> Open Thunderbird and right-click on the Office 365 account that you have configured to click on <strong>Subscribe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>b.<\/strong> Check the box beside each of the following folders: <strong>Deleted Items, Drafts, Sent Items<\/strong>. Once done, click on Subscribe button on the right.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>c.<\/strong> Then click on the<strong> OK<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>d.<\/strong> Again, right-click on the O365 account and click on <strong>Setting<\/strong>s this time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>e.<\/strong> Select <strong>Server Settings<\/strong> option under Office 365 account.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>f.<\/strong> For \u201cWhen I delete a message\u201d option, choose the radio button for <strong>&#8220;Move it to this folder&#8221;<\/strong> and select <strong>&#8220;Deleted Items&#8221;<\/strong> folder.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>g.<\/strong> Now, select <strong>&#8220;Copies &amp; Folders&#8221;<\/strong> under the O365 account.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>h.<\/strong> For &#8216;When sending messages, automatically section, check the box for Place a copy in option. Choose<strong>&#8220;Other&#8221;<\/strong> and then select the &#8220;Sent Items&#8221; folder of your Office 365 account from the pull-down menu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>i<\/strong>. In<strong> \u201cDrafts and Templates\u201d<\/strong> section, select<strong> Others&gt;&gt; Drafts folder of Office 365.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>j.<\/strong> Click <strong>OK<\/strong> and restart Thunderbird. Now it is ready for use.<\/p>\n<p class=\"heading-style\"><strong>3.
