Steps to Import MBOX files to Office365 Account

STEP 1

Launch the “MBOX to Office365” software. The user interface of the software is as follows:

Now, click on the “Add File(s)” or “Add Folder” button.

Navigate to the Required file and click on "Open" button.

STEP 3

Once a file has been added, The software will show the MBOX file that you have imported within software interface, Click on “Next”.

STEP 4

Now, On the next screen. You can see the Office365 Radio button selected automatically.

STEP 5

User Impersonation

Admin SMTP: Provide the Admin username for the admin account
Password: Provide the password for the admin account.

Admin account must have Office365 license assigned, you must be able to access OWA for admin.
Admin account of Office365 must be impersonated. How to Apply impersonation, watch video.
Check if you have login as administrator on your machine (where tool is running)?

On the Next Menu, Select the radio button corresponding to "With Impersonation" label.

Now, provide the credentials for an administrator account and click on the "Login" Button as shown below.

Now, The admin account will be validated.

STEP 6

Once the admin account gets validated.

Provide a mailbox id to which the data is to be migrated as shown below:

Now, The mailbox id will also be validated as shown below:

STEP 7

Now, you can specify the filters for importing data from the Mbox files.

To Apply filters click on the corresponding radio button to “Apply Filters” text and click on the button “Set”.

Now select the date filter according to which the data is to be imported.

Note: The date filter is applied according to the received date of emails.

Click on "Export" button in-order to get started with the export process.

The software will start to export the Mbox file data as shown below:

Now, TheImport process will be completed successfully with a success message as shown below:

Once the import process is complete then you can very easily save the Report containing all the information such as : Number of Mails, Size Duration, & Status regarding the process of importing the MBOX file.

Click on the "Save Report" as shown below:

Select the location, where you want to save the export report.

The Export Report will be saved successfully with the following message:

Now open the CSV to view the export report as follows:

Finally, you can view all the imported data to the Office365 Account as shown below:

Click on the radio button corresponding to the "Without impersonation" radio button.

STEP 6

Now, Provide the credentials for the respective mailbox id to which the data is to be transferred:

The mailbox id will be validated now.

STEP 8

Now, you can specify the filters for importing data from the Mbox files.

To Apply filters click on the corresponding radio button to “Apply Filters” text and click on the button “Set”.

Now select the date filter according to which the data is to be imported.

Note: The date filter is applied according to the received date of emails.

Now, Back on the previos menu click on the "Export" button.

The software will start the export process now:

The migration process will be completed successfully with a success message, Click on “OK” as shown below:.

STEP 11

Once the import process is complete then you can very easily save the Report containing all the information regarding the process of importing the MBOX file.

Click on the "Save Report" button, as shown below:

Now select the location for the report and save the file.

A message for successfull completion of report generation will prompt. Click on “OK” as the process is complete.

You can view the Report of the process of importing MBOX files showing details: File Path, Number of Mails imported, Size of the File , Duration & Status of Report
