Learn How to Remove Password from PST file

Instructions which demonstrate how utility deals with a locked PST file and wipe-out the password from it.

STEP 1

Run the application and at the first software will ask you to browse the PST file which is needed to be reset. Click either on "Add File" or "Add Folder" option to browse the data file.

Add Folder: is used to remove encryption from multiple password protected Outlook Data Files in one go.

STEP 2

Select the Folder which has to be processed further and click on "Ok" button.

STEP 3

After just browsing the data files, software starts representing the PST files and their current status on the software screen. This status elucidates about encryption of Outlook PST Files.

STEP 4

The same status report that was appearing on the software panel in last step can be exported and saved into a CSV file by using "Generate CSV Report" option.

STEP 5

This way (by generating the CSV report), you can have a concise view and can ascertain about two different things about data files: Location & Encryption status.

STEP 6

At last, click on "Remove Password" button and unlock the PST files.
