Watch through Screens

Watch the working preview of software and simply follow the steps :

Install & run the SQL Log Explorer Tool and click Open.

Software provides you two options to add file to the software.

  • Online Mode
  • Offline Mode

Online Database Option

If user select Online DB Option, Software allow you to select the Server Name from drop down list. If the Server Name is not showing in the list ,then you can enter it manually, Choose Authentication mode and click on drop down arrow to Select Database.

After filling all details , Click Ok.

Click Ok once scanning is done.

Offline Database Option

If user select Offline DB Option, click on the Browse button to load the LDF file.

Select the LDF file and Click Open.

Software gives you option to select the version of mdf file if the file is corrupted.

User can Check all Login\User names details by clicking on checkbox if you want to identify who has done the transaction (Optional). For this, you need to provide the Login Credentials (Server Name, User Name and Password).

Click on Fetch User to retrieve all the users of Server.

Scanning completed successfully pop up will appear.

Now view scanning details and click on Ok button.

You can save scanned file into .str file format.

Save the the .str file into desired location.

Click Ok button, once the file is saved successfully

Preview the log file data.

Select the table which you want to export.

Click on Export button to save log file data.

Export data according to transaction ie. Insert, Update, Delete.

You can also export transaction records of selected date using Date Filters option.

Select the export option as per your need. Software gives you 3 different options for exporting:

  1. SQL Server Database
  2. SQL Server Compatible SQL Script
  3. CSV

Browse the Destination location to save the log file data.

Select a preferred destination location and click Ok.

Click on Export button.

'Export Completed' window will pop up confirming the successful export process.

Now you can see the complete export report and click on Ok.

Software will ask you to export the details to a CSV file. If you want to save, then click on Yes.

Select the folder where you want to save. Click on Ok

You can open & preview the CSV file on your system.

After Exporting Log File,navigate to the destination location chosen to save the output to check the results.

Preview the .sql file with SQL Server Database.
