Step 1. Open the Converter
Install the software on Windows and open PCVITA NSF to MSG Converter from Start Menu and All Programs. On Windows 10, 8.1, 8 or 7 right click the shortcut and choose Run as Administrator.
Step 2. Load Single NSF Files or Folders
Choose the Select NSF File(s) option. Use Add Files for single NSF files or Add Folder for a directory full of them. Protected files ask for the password in the Provide Lotus Notes Password box.
Step 3. Select MSG as the Export Format
Choose MSG on the Select Export Format screen. Other formats stay one click away when you need a second job.
Step 4. Select Item Categories and Dates
Tick Mail, Calendars, Contacts or Task in the category list. Switch on the date filter when you want items from one period only.
Step 5. Choose a Naming Convention
Select a Naming Convention like Subject or Subject plus Date. Your chosen name shows what an MSG file holds before you open it. Click Next to continue.
Step 6. Browse a Folder and Export
Adjust the Advance Conversion Options when you need them. Use Browse to select a destination folder and click Export. Click OK at the finish message and double click any MSG file to open it in Outlook.
