Step 1. Add the PST File
Install the software, select your interface language and launch it from the Start menu under All Programs. Click Add File on the main screen.
Step 2. Select or Search the PST File
Select File opens a browse window for one PST file. Search File looks through a chosen drive or every drive. Highlight the PST file and press Open.
Step 3. Scan the PST File
The file location shows on screen. Tick Advance Scan for a damaged file and tick Recover Permanently Deleted Items to bring back deleted mail. Click Add and scanning begins. S/MIME and OpenPGP encryption comes off during the scan.
Step 4. Preview the Loaded Mailbox
When scanning ends, a prompt appears so you can save the scan result. Your full PST loads in a folder tree. Open an item in Normal Mail View, Hex View, Properties View, Message Header View or another preview tab.
Step 5. Select MSG and Set Options
Select emails, right click and choose Export. Click the Export button instead for every item. Select MSG as the format. Set a Naming Convention, a Date filter and Categories, then browse to the destination folder.
Step 6. Export and Open the MSG Files
Click Export and click OK when the process completes. Click the number under Success Count in the report to see the saved file path. Open that path to find your MSG files. Save the report as CSV if you need a record.
