Remove Restrictions From a PDF in 6 Steps

Step 1. Select the File Type
Install PCVITA PDF Restriction Remover on Windows and open it. Under File Type select Restricted for files with owner permissions, or Password Protected for files that ask for a password when they open.
Step 2. Add the PDF Files
Click Add File(s) and select the PDF files, or click Add Folder to load every PDF in a folder at once. Files appear in the list with their size in MB.
Step 3. Check the File List
Read the list. Permissions shows Disabled for a restricted file, and the Password column stays empty because owner restrictions need no password. For a file with a user password, type that password into the Password field.
Step 4. Choose Save or Print
Select Save to write the unrestricted PDF files to a folder, or Print to print them straight away. Save is the choice for files you want to edit, copy from or share.
Step 5. Set the Destination and Click Unlock
Click Change and select the destination folder. Click Unlock. Permissions move from Disabled to Enabled and the status column moves from In Progress to Completed. Use Stop if you need to halt the job.
Step 6. Open the Unrestricted Files
Confirm the success message with OK. Check the Total, Success and Failed counts, then click the destination path link to open your folder of unrestricted PDF files.
